The group’s purpose is to help drive the Commonwealth’s current and future economic development by targeting advanced manufacturing as a crucial engine for growth and competitive advantage. Members are combining resources and coordinating their efforts in order to attract Federal economic development funding, increase science, technology, mathematics and engineering (STEM) majors, make worker training more flexible, accessible and industry-driven, and show Kentuckians that manufacturing is an exciting high-paying career field and a vital part of their economy as well.
