Value Stream Flow Kaizen Workshops

Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Value Stream Flow Kaizen
4 Day On-Site Workshop

Developing World Class Performance in Lean Enterprise and Just-in-time Logistics

MRO Value Stream Flow Workshop Objectives:

  • familiarize participants with just-in-time maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) principles & methodologies
  • assist participants in “seeing the flow” of their “model” or “pilot” MRO operations value stream
  • create a comprehensive current state value stream map of the participant’s
“model” MRO operations value stream’s flow
  • assist participants in visualizing how lean principles and practices can significantly improve flow and reduce lead time within the MRO operation’s value stream
  • assist participants to visualize, then develop an aggressive, yet feasible MRO operations future state improvement design and an effective transformation plan
  • Assist participants in defining an effective lean servant leadership framework and sustaining performance metrics for their “model” MRO operations value stream

To achieve these objectives, participants will:

  • practice, through discussions and case study illustration, value stream flow
mapping, flow kaizen methods, team building, and value stream management
  • develop current and future state maps of their focus “model” MRO value stream
  • learn value stream kaizen process leadership roles and responsibilities

Discover how to plan, manage, and prioritize implementation of lean principles
and toolswithin MRO operations so they are a part of an integrated system
that sustains quantum leaps in improvement.

Preparation A day prior to each workshop, the workshop coach will make a process flow assessment of the Model value stream.
