Biography

Dr. Phillip Marksberry is a Lecturer of the UK Center for Manufacturing, College of Engineering. His current research interest is in the area of lean manufacturing (also known as the Toyota Production System). Dr. Marksberry started his teaching career in 1995 as a part-time faculty of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. He has over 16 years of industry experience, primarily in the automotive sector, holding positions in engineering management, tooling design, product design, operations, production, sales, and quality management.
