Awards presented annually by SME. There is a maximum of one award
presented in each category in any given year. It was presented in
recognition of research successes in improving manufacturing processes.
1991 Westinghouse Science and Technology Center Outstanding Innovation
Award.
One of eight awards presented for most innovative patents issued
in 1990. Presented for US Patent No. 4,927,985 "Cryogenic Conductor."
